Usual suspect in the world of hazy and gazey dreampop, Cathedral Bells, teams up with like-minded artist Rew to produce an excellent new song. Clinging to the Ground, a fairly natural collaboration, is a very melodic song immersed in dreampop melodicism and beautiful fuzziness.
"This is about someone viewing you on the outside but you are feeling indifferent on the inside, which is keeping the mind restless and powerless to make a difference," Cathedral Bells comments on the song's concept.
