In Danger is the first single from ILUITEQ's fourth album Reflections from the Road, which will be released on February 17th, 2023 by n5MD. ILUITEQ's new full length ventures into new musical borders, starkly juxtaposing enchanting textures and glitchy tones.
Arriving with a serene, post apocalyptic undertone, In Danger shows ILUITEQ furthering their broad form of experimental ambiance with ethereal sounds and more lowered percussive elements, which when combined drive the track in a mystifyingly unique way, and ultimately reveal an innate feeling of apprehension.
Reflections From The Road is partially based on Cormac McCarthy's novel The Road, and develops on its concept of human beings being weighed down by an agony which shakes up the the trajectory of their lives.
