Myopia is the first single from the upcoming album The Sacred Hunger of the Void, a much anticipated follow up to the 2017 EP, The Tower, by Montreal-based band, TONNES.
The song is a collaboration with Australian composer and vocalist, Delorca, whose idyllic vocals soar above the band's expansive heaviness, marked by heavy riffage. Myopia hits like a barrage of emotionality and weight, and also outlines a notably dark creative approach of otherworldly properties.
With its genre mixing qualities highly perceivable, the first example of the project's impending album sounds homogenous and natural, as its combination of gothic rock, folk, doom and post metal brings together all elements to utter perfection.
