Data Animal are back with Instant Death, a gripping standalone cut steeped in grittiness, and powered by beautiful repetition and rough energy. Instant Death was recorded in a garden shack in Auckland, New Zealand, and mixed in the back of the van while on tour in Europe with A Place To Bury Strangers.
Dark and affective, Instant Death shares the same post apocalyptic atmosphere as their excellent recent album Future Primitive and a post punk identity.
Data Animal continue to generate works with personality which, despite their stylized and elaborate feel, appear realistic, aware and relevant to current times.
