Dance Of Days is an enigmatic darkwave act based in California, and it has just emerged with a couple of first offerings which show their dark aesthetic and artistic goals.
Fear To Fall Apart arrives with a sound deeply ingrained in darkwave and gloomy synthpop, and the music's overall creative perspective results in a propulsive mix of moody synths and introverted, nearly crooning vocals which draws inspiration from some of the genre's most pioneering acts.
The finished result is undoubtedly inspired by post-punk and darkwave from the eighties and more, and is largely a satisfying listen.
