Softie is the solo project of Bay Area artist Nicholas Coleman, who delivers an unconventional take on dreampop and shoegaze, with a more experimental taste and themes that linger around the growing illusion of decaying urban life.
Doser is the opening track to the project's latest EP, Strong Hold, a fine five-song collection with a wonderful atmospheric ambiance and a lo-fi bedroom feel incorporated into its dreampop and slowcore foundation.
The song is now accompanied by a beautiful psychedelic video that perfectly complements the music's enigmatic elusiveness and exploratory approach.
