Twins Sport is the new project by Joshua Dawes (Flyying Colours), emerging with the wonderful first single, Always, a piece which symbolizes a period of isolation, and the desire for the company of friends and family. The song is the first single from the forthcoming album, The Importance of Blinking, which takes its title from a political cartoon about the pandemic age.
Dreampop, shoegaze, and garage rock intersect in an appealing combination, with the track adhering to a traditional musical framework, yet, sounding instinctive and genuine creatively.
Always was recorded and produced by Michael Badger (King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, You am I, Amyl and the Sniffers) at Jaya Jaya music, and features vocals and production by Gemma O’Connor (Flyying Colours) and guest performances from Michael Badger, Sam Dawes and Jules Valentine.
