Portland, Oregon-based post punk band, Fringe Class, release their new single, Super Creepy, following on from their 2020 full length, Alone by the Phone. The band's music comfortably leans on the more experimental side of post punk, with elements of electronica, new wave, and synthpunk often coming to the fore.
Super Creepy is a vibrant post punk piece, with a powerful vocal delivery and an overall brooding vibe. The song has long been a crowd favourite, and the band has used it to close out live shows for years. Its studio rendition certainly doesn't lack in dynamism and enthusiasm, and shows Fringe Class pushing forward with some rather forward-thinking creative vision.
