Into the Wide is the title track and third single from the upcoming album by Danish alternative rock band Catch The Breeze. Kasper Staub from Lowly provides synth sounds and ambience to the piece which as a whole showcases the new album's range and diversity. It's a simple song about everything reaching its time and going on into the uncertain.
This preoccupation with movement and adaptability stems in part from lead vocalist Aage Kinch's family's relocation from Copenhagen to a small town in the country to start a new life. This is one of the few life adjustments referenced in the album's title, and the single's concept. The accompanying video was filmed in the nearby fields, close to Kinch's new place.
Energetic guitars, imaginative drumming, and a distinct contribution from guest musician Kasper Staub, who brings some extra atmosphere to the song, form an excellent fit for the heartfelt vocal and the track's lyrical substance.
Into the Wide - the album, will be released on August 26th, 2022.
