Kassel (Foam and Sand Rework) is the focus track and closing number on The Next Billion Years (Foam and Sand Reworks), the new album by renowned composer Robot Koch, featuring new remixes of tracks from the artist's acclaimed 2020 album, The Next Billion Years by his alternative project Foam and Sand.
The new album, which combines contemporary classical and ambient elements, is awash with diversity and breadth, coming across as something rather motivating and cinematic, and a strong accompaniment to the original release. Kassel is a personal piece about Robot's hometown.
"The song has a really calming and healing quality to it, something I associate with coming home or feeling at home, feeling at peace," Robot comments.
