On the heels of their very good recent album, Psylhouette II, the Brighton and Berlin-based duo, Psylhouette, release a second single, the rather vibrant, God Bless the Animals.
God Bless the Animals is an enchanting new wave and electropop-inspired piece which encapsulates the perplexing energy of the B-52's and Tom Tom Club, as well as the motorik/post rock sophistication of Stereolab in a dense and authentic total.
The new song, which feels a touch more eccentric and quirky than the band's usual approach, plays up its monotony in a smart and creative manner, without becoming too prosaic nor uninspiring.
