Lebenswelt: A short history of decay. Part 1

One-man project, Lebenswelt, by musician Giampaolo Loffredo, prepares for the release of the upcoming album, Unspoken Words. It's the act's sixth full length in total, and it arrives on January 15th, 2022 via Under My Bed and OuZeL.

Lebenswelt began in 2003 after the demise of Loffredo's previous band, Joy of Grief, and brought in a amply melancholic sound which harks back at the early days of post rock and slowcore, in line with seminal acts like Bark Psychosis and Slint. Six albums in, Lebenswelt's compositional approach is collected and rich with serenity, involving components from lo-fi, indie folk, drone and ambient to their delicate, yet, exploratory post rock.

Unspoken Words will also feature guest musicians, Pall Jenkins (Black Heart Procession, Three Mile Pilot), Richard Vincent Adams (Hood, The Declining Winter), Andrew Richards (aka Richard Andrews, Uniform motion, Angle), as well as many other artists from the Italian indie music scene.
