A Place To Bury Strangers: Hold On Tight

The noisiest of them all unveil pieces of their anticipated next album, following the dynamite of an EP which was the recent Hologram. A Place To Bury Strangers will release their sixth studio album, See Through You, on February 4th, 2022 on Dedstrange.

Hold On Tight is a dense punk/noise rocker paired to a very artistic video directed by Meriel O'Connell. In the clip, bandleader Oliver Ackermann plays the part of the caretaker of a bizarre New York hotel where a romantic dinner ultimately turns into a fight, and Ackermann is joined by the mysterious attender (drummer Sandra Fedowitz), and maĆ®tre d’ (bassist John Fedowitz) to deliver.

When the getting's good, I hold on tight. Sometimes I forget to enjoy where I am and the people around me. It is critical to be thankful and enjoy existence and have fun. Having a bad night? Reflect and kick yourself into gear,” Ackermann reflects on the song's meaning.
