Neon Funeral: Party All the Time

If a cover of an Eddie Murphy song done in a twisted fusion of darkwave and hardcore doesn't seem like a good idea in theory, Jersey City act Neon Funeral prompt us to think again. The band have put out a single and video of their unique rendition of Party All the Time, originally written by Rick James, and released in 1985 on Murphy’s debut musical studio album, How Could It Be.

"Cleopatra Records asked us to do a top 10 Billboard cover song done within the last 30 years and we chose this one because it's an 80's classic and we thought we could add a darker tone to it," Neon Funeral share, as their odd cover of the popular song strikes a favorable chord for its inventiveness as well as its energy.
