Like A Motorcycle: 122 Hours of Fear

Canadian punks Like A Motorcycle have cut their teeth opening for bands like Against Me!, Propagandhi, METZ, Headstones, The Vibrators, Japandroids, L.A. Witch, and Danko Jones among others, and they deliver an emotive, heavy sound which is wholly genuine.

The band's new single is a cover, an aptly picked one, originally by seventies LA punk band The Screamers. LAM’s version of 122 Hours Of Fear subtly gentles the grit of the original, and swathes the composition with the quartet's affective punk rock zest.

122 Hours Of Fear addresses the hijacking of a Lufthansa flight 181 in 1977, given from the point of view of a hostage.

Like A Motorcycle are KT Lamond (guitar, vocals), Kim Carson (bass, vocals), David Casey (guitar, vocals) and Clare Macdonald (drums, backup vocals).
