Dan Barrett's Black Wing takes the act's nihilistic poetry to anthemic proportions on the freshly revealed Choir Of Assholes / You Think It'll Make You Happy But It Won't, off the upcoming full length, No Moon.
The eight-minute song presents Barrett's songwriting at a completely personal level, showing a clear view of the artist's creative and philosophical mindset in a way that it almost feels invasive to have so much of his private psyche exhibited in full display.
The new track remains true to the more experimental path which Barrett is following with the new album, and consistent with the hyper-sentimentality of the couple of singles that preceded it.
No Moon comes out on December 11th, 2020 through The Flenser.
