The Fizz Fuzz: Hereby

A prominent figure in the world of desert and stoner rock, and previously member of such great heavy rock acts as Hermano and Orquesta Del Desierto, multi-instrumentalist Dandy Brown comes through with a new project alongside multi-media artist, guitarist, and vocalist Dawn Brown. The Fizz Fuzz have just released their new album, Palmyra, through the Atlanta-based independent label, Slush Fund, and physically via Taxi Driver Records in Europe.

Hereby is a warm desert rock dynamite made out of heavy, memorable riffs, elated vocals and vibrant rhythms, and it comes with a fun DIY video of the band performing and living it up at home. The song is cut from the same cloth as the depth and force of genre's late nineties to mid-oughties prime, while the band's delivery is one of the most crucial aspects of its impact.

"We started writing the songs for Palmyra when we moved from the desert to Santa Rosa, dry to wet," Dandy Brown explains. "Dear Old came together just before a winter tour in Italy. Hereby was written in the spring, shortly after we returned home."

"We are infinitely grateful to all of the friends who stepped into our album and delivered such inspiring and emotional performances," Dandy continues about Palmyra which was conceived in many different locations in the US and Italy, and features contributions from Mike Reeder who plays bass on the album, as well as David Angstrom (Hermano/Luna Sol/Supafuzz), Steve Earle (The Afghan Whigs), Mike Callahan (Hermano/Earshot), Alice Albertazzi and Gianfranco Romanelli (Alice Tambourine Lover), and Mark Engel (Orquesta del Desierto).

The touring roster of the Fizz Fuzz includes Mike Reeder on bass, and Steve Earle on drums.
