Port Juvee: Desert Moon Palace

Canadian post punk band, Port Juvee, reveal another solid single off their sophomore full length, Motion Control, incoming February 28th, 2020 through the Canadian DIY label, Garment District Records.

After the psychedelic post punk nerve of the album's title track, new single Desert Moon Palace comes with a dystopian posture, exhibiting the band's animated side, and lyrically addressing the notion of the ceaseless need for exploration in life, and the heftiness of life decisions. Like a merging between the surf pop sensibilities of The Beach Boys and the potency of DIIV's themes and robustness, the new song is another example of the uneasy character that overshadows the band's writing and sound.

Port Juvee are confirmed to play New Colossus in New York, SXSW and Treefort Music Fest this Spring, and together with the album's release they seem to be having a very creative 2020.
