King Dude: Full Virgo Moon

Consistently productive and purveyor of darkness through a few well combined musical styles, King Dude will follow Music To Make War To from 2018 with Full Virgo Moon, his new album, expected out March 13th, 2020 through his own imprint, Not Just Religious Music and Van Records.

On the new record Thomas Cowgill returns to the rawer and more stripped down direction of his early material when he wasn't accompanied by a full band, and the album's title track reflects that exact darkly folk side. King Dude's writing remains poetic and affecting as ever, while his own home production intensifies the immediacy of his organic vocals and sounds crisp like it does on every record.

Full Virgo Moon was written and recorded in Seattle, WA during the first two weeks of 2020, and the first examples off it, the title track and closing number, Something About You, sound devotedly bare and direct.
