Delivering their imposing post punk sound which measures equal parts of grittiness and elegance, Stockholm's Delagoon will be soon releasing their debut full length through Hybris, recorded with producer, Lovina Isaksson, from the post punk/glam pop band, Dolores Haze. The dark and colorful introductory single, Shimmering, features the vocal contribution of another Dolores Haze member, Groovy Nickz, and sounds like a remarkable slow burner that raises expectations for the coming LP.
Delagoon are fresh off a couple of years of intense touring, and their new stuff comes with a lot of promise and sensible confidence, as it follows a series of successful singles and a prominent EP that was 2017's New Sensation.
Between the tenacity of the great Stooges and the noisy affect of The Jesus And Mary Chain, Delagoon continue evolving and offering a refreshing sound, radiant, focused and forceful.
