Creamer: Drugs No More

Presenting a perfect fusion of Americana and glam rock, Nashville's Creamer, led by their charismatic singer/songwriter, Philip Creamer, emerge forcefully with a captivating new single and video. Drugs No More is a beautiful, mellow song, sounding like something that escaped the colorful seventies, and like a piece that could have easily belonged among the best that T.Rex had to offer.

The rest of Creamer is comprised of members of the Texas Gentleman, Pat Sansone (Wilco, The Autumn Defense), Audley Freed (Black Crowes, Sheryl Crow), and drummer Dave King. The band toured in support of Wilco in 2017 on the first leg of their Schmilco tour.

"Creamer's music has that magical combination of feeling both supremely classic, but completely fresh and of the moment at the same time," says producer Pat Sansone. "A timeless pop sensibility that is truly special. Elements of classic rock, glam, power pop, and super strong melodicism that all work together to create their sound. Drugs No More is a prime example of that quality that permeates throughout their songs."

Drugs No More is part of Creamer's forthcoming debut album, produced by Pat Sansone and Josh Shapera (Wilco, Flaming Lips, The Autumn Defense), out September 2018, and if the rest of it comes out nearly as fascinating as the lead single, then we're in for a good one.
