The soundtrack to the upcoming sci-fi movie, KIN, the debut from filmmakers Jonathan and Josh Baker is added to the ever growing list of film scores Mogwai has offered in their long and fruitful career. That list so far has been comprised by Zidane, The Fountain, Les Revenants, Atomic and Before The Flood, and now the anticipated new film is added, expected on August 31st, 2018, starring Jack Reynor, Zoë Kravitz, Carrie Coon, Dennis Quaid, and James Franco.
After Donuts, the band has revealed another piece off the score, We're Not Done (End Title), showing some intense shoegaze inclinations, while appearing very close to the sound of their latest canonical albums.
Like the movie, the score will be out August 31st, 2018, as usual on Rock Action.
