Massage: Lydia

In anticipation of their debut LP, Oh Boy, scheduled for release July 2018 via independent Australian label, Tear Jerk Records, LA-based five-piece, Massage, emerge as a unit comprised of friends who casually enjoy what they do, and who are mighty good at it.

Including former Pains Of Being Pure At Heart bassist, Alex Naidus, Massage bring forward a delightful, jangly sound, citing graceful and admirable influences that derive from the world of indie and power pop, such as The Feelies, The Go-Betweens, Twerps, and the catalog of prestigious labels like Sarah Records and Flying Nun.

Their forthcoming album was produced and mixed by Jason Quever of Papercuts at Palmetto Studios, and mastered by Mikey Young.

Oh Boy is introduced by leading single, Lydia, a lovely, downright harmonious gem, which comes wearing its aforementioned sources of inspiration on its sleeves, and without doubt it carries them out with finesse.
