UV Rays: Facade

Coming on strong with a wide ranging sound which draws from a few different places such as post-punk, Japanese math rock, American indie rock and even sixties' Wall of Sound pop, Brooklyn's UV Rays are following their EP, Picking at the Bones, from last Fall with a new single.

Facade is bordering on UV Rays' punk nature and more vigorous side. Through the intricacy and and absolute harmoniousness of its musicianship the song demonstrates a consistent and exciting band which keeps progressing and delivering their characterful blend of influences in a seamless way.

Among those exquisite influences the band mention Japanese math rockers Tricot, Japanese shoegazers Mass of the Fermenting Dregs, as well as At the Drive In, Fugazi, Buzzcocks, Heavenly (UK) and The Breeders.
