Trouble: Snake Eyes

The first thing that should come to a musicophile's mind when they hear the word Trouble is probably the great American doom metal band which goes back as far as the late seventies. Now there is another band going by the same name, and featuring David Lynch's son, Riley, alongside longtime music supervisor for Lynch, Dean Hurley and Alex Zhang Hungtai of Dirty Beaches.

Trouble is the fourth band so far to appear at the Roadhouse in Twin Peaks, following Chromatics, the Cactus Blossoms and Au Revoir Simone, verifying that the returned series' relation to music is strong and certainly interactive.

The band, which according to their own statement is most likely to never release anything else in the future, has just released their single, Snake Eyes, with b-side, Mother's Gone, on Bandcamp. A physical release will come out on 7-inch vinyl through Sacred Bones Records on June 30th.

Stay sharp for Alex Zhang Hungtai's new project, Love Theme, which will be releasing its debut album on June 23rd.
