Dakota: Silver Tongue

In plain terms Dutch dreampop four piece, Dakota, have emerged like a breath of fresh air among this fruitful but tough to excel in genre, and those who have observed the band's aptitude through their few releases this far, may have reveled in a superior version of the hot and dreamy Californian vibe, wryly delivered by a group of girls from the Netherlands.

The quartet's new single, Silver Tongue, follows their recent EP, Leda, which did not go unnoticed by indie publications and fans alike. Through its dreamy textures, simple and intelligible lyrics, and exceedingly warm presentation, the new song emerges straight as Dakota's brightest one yet.

Like the song puts it, "don't take it from me". Listen below..

Silver Tongue || Wanderlust was released today, June 30th via Manimal.
