L.A.'s Oddnesse are taking the time to release the contents of their first four-track EP one by one, and although this far we are still only on entry number two, it's not hard to recognize the knack and the dreampop superiority that dwell into this one.
On Incoming Call the alternative rock influences from the swaying nineties scream volumes, still the song's original slow burning energy comes out as something no less than captivating and intriguing.
According to the band, the song is dedicated to "all the introverts," and it's "an ode to creativity, solitude and the collective consciousness."
