Austin, TX five-piece, Kindatheart, consisting of songwriter/guitarist/vocalist Jack Scheffler, vocalist Rachel Mathson, bassist Axel H. Alarcon, lead guitarist Kyle Anderson, and drummer Trey Ortiz, delivered their debut EP, Perception, this past summer, a sunny and much uplifting record, comprised of four flavorful tracks that bubble over with jangly guitars, mellow vocal harmonies and overall melodic graciousness.
Rose Petals, the EP's charming opening track is a representative example of the band's shiny mellowness and the indie pop sophistication that flows plenty through the rest of the tracks on Perception as well.
