Bagarre Générale is a heavy math-metal band from Bordeaux, France, formed in 2012, combining the fury of High Of Fire with zeuhl elements, neoclassicism and insane rhythm sections.
So far Bagarre Générale has released a self titled EP and a few tracks for free on their Bandcamp, but now it seems like they’ll be reaching a wider audience as they’ve just put out a new split with their homeboys, Year Of No Light.
This is about the seventh split release I can recall with YONL involved, but probably the one I’m most glad to hear about, for it’s been a couple of years since the band released the LP Toscin and the EP Vampyr back in 2013.
