Wolves In The Throne Room’s much anticipated fifth album titled Celestite is going to be released on July 8th via Artemisia Records. From the two tracks they have already shared it seems that the band has taken a step away from black metal and moved more towards experimental ambient sounds based on synthesizers, reminiscent of horror movie soundtracks of the seventies. Celestite so far appears like it’s going to be an evolutionary album that looks forward and pushes the boundaries to expand this already accomplished and celebrated band’s vision to a much larger artistic territory.
