D//E Premiere: Abandoncy: Glass Labyrinth

Abandoncy, a highly productive band which has consistently impressed with their intense noise rock sound, makes a comeback with their new standalone single, Glass Labyrinth, accompanied by a visually grabbing music video. The song is also featured in the independent environmentalist thriller movie, How to Blow Up a Pipeline, directed by Daniel Goldhaber.

In preparation for their upcoming East Coast tour from May 30 to June 15, 2023, the band is releasing the single in advance.

Glass Labyrinth showcases a post hardcore intensity, capturing the band's usual fervor with gritty vocals and complex instrumentals which blend together into a turbulent composition. As it progresses, the song traverses through dark and heavy sounds with great use of doom and sludge rock elements, before gradually transitioning into a slowcore mood, ultimately building up to an almost primal post rock storm.

The video for Glass Labyrinth was directed and edited by Damian Fisher.
