NYC-based, Peruvian experimental duo, Laikamorí, have released their new album, ▲▲▲, produced by Mario Silvania, and mastered by Maurizio Biaggio (Boy Harsher, The Soft Moon). Unconventional by nature, Laikamorí construct perplexing, exquisite and eclectic sounds, combining influence from post punk, dreampop, psychedelia and experimental electronica in an all around dreamlike and eccentric blend full of goth aesthetics.
Saqra is part of the project's new album. The song is a dark, pulsating number with flawless, crystalline production and a mood which is simultaneously idyllic and unsettling as the otherworldly vocals become more prominent and serve as a wonderful accompaniment to the entrancing electronic instrumentals.
