Mother Said is a five-piece art rock band based in Leeds, with two female lead singers from Newcastle. Taking cues from the earlier times of post punk and new wave, the band bring forth a sound which feels fairly familiar, and base their mindset on bizarre, political, and dark concepts.
Tallulah is an artful and restive track about being demotivated at home, and not wanting to walk the dog. It delves into one's dissatisfaction with their daily tasks and their eagerness for something different.
Mother Said instill danceable and tuneful songs with deeper, exploratory subtexts to generate a female riot with intent.
