The Coffins, a tight three-piece act from The Hills of Melbourne, Australia, are composed of bassist Kaylah Mackley, guitarist Max Young, and drummer Matt Dalgleish. They formed the group in 2020 and their brand of pop, post punk music is infused with an organic and unrestrained flair.
Terry, one of the songs on the band's two-song release, Wayward Man, is a simple, unpolished minute and a half song which comes with a playful and fun video, a selection of live footage and bloopers.
While the post punk overtone is quite intense and gives the final outcome a lot of personality, the band's predominant garage rock electricity appears to be fairly ageless, and is actualized really well.
