Dark Times is the first release by Texan hardcore band, DWNKILL, which comes with a lot of promise and vast amounts of energy right off the bat. Dark Times is paired to a simple, good looking video directed by the band's bassist, Dylan McEwan.
The band's sound is firmly established on hardcore punk and comes with elements of thrash metal, stoner rock, metalcore and heavy noise rock, while their songwriting style seems pretty direct and to the point.
Dark Times is DWNKILL's impressive and excellent entry into the heavy music world, and definitely feels timely and exciting.
