WAWO is the latest offering by New Zealand-based dreampop artist, T.G. Shand aka Annemarie Duff, arriving on November 11th, 2022. The track is the first reveal off an upcoming EP due out in Summer (Southern Hemisphere time).
The song goes back to T.G. Shand's heavier shoegaze roots and her involvement in the local scene as part of Miniatures. Although heavier than the artist's previous recent releases, it still has a dreamlike radiance which earns it a place among the finest in current dreampop.
T.G. Shand comments: "Most of it came together pretty quickly in a weekend, then I spent a month figuring out the bridge and how to include my precious Yamaha CP-70 piano."
