Renatus stand out for the aggression and technical aptness of their sound, with a deathcore influence firmly in place, and guitars which deliver dense and powerful riffs, while the aggressive vocals and the absolutely fantastic drumming play their own part in making Corpse Bearer an essential new listen in extreme metal.
Inculcate is one of the album's most impressive numbers, still, the band's work is definitely better appreciated in full length form.
