Following the release of their very well received album, Let Me Know Your Moon, in 2019, Cincinnati band Leggy return with new single and video, Lipstick on the Mic. During the time of the pandemic, the band was busy working on their new album, which was recorded in Chicago by artist and producer Paul Cherry.
With their return, the band adopts a more shiny and pop-bent approach, with a clear and sharp sound which still conveys the psychedelic properties of their earlier material. The moody, dim and at the same time vividly colored video which comes with the song comes across quite atmospheric and dazzling, merging nicely with the song's sultry tone.
Since their inception in 2015, Leggy have shared stages with bands like The All American Rejects, PILE, Cherry Glazerr, Cloud Nothings, Mannequin Pussy and many others.
