Following their very promising debut EP, Beyond The Frame, from last year, Scottish shoegazers, Sunstinger, come forth with their first release of 2022, a track taken from an upcoming EP which will be released at the end of 2022.
Only in the Morning is a blissful, guitar-driven shoegaze number which recalls shoegaze's heyday, carrying a fairly immaculate production, and finding the band in a quite ecstatic and energetic mode.
Sunstinger aim for their compositions to be driven through a passion of experimenting with noise and melody, striving to create something out of the ordinary, and so far it appears that their goal has been met, with a job well done.
Only in the Morning arrives paired to a beautiful, indie cinematic video filmed, edited and directed by Rory Cowieson (Tongue Twister Films).
