Burning is a focus track on the impending album, presented in a new video of a fiery live performance from the group, recorded at the band's Josiah Mazzaschi’s Cave Studios, featuring Smashing Pumpkins' Jeff Schroeder. It's a bright alternative rock tune which conforms to the genre's more palatable side while also flawlessly blending the underground with more accessible sounds.
In an over twenty-year career, Josiah Mazzaschi has recorded and produced great artists like The Jesus and the Mary Chain, Jeff Schroeder (Smashing Pumpkins), Built to Spill, Rilo Kiley and more, and he has written and performed for his own projects; Light FM, Motorhome, and Bizou. Mathews has fronted and written for a number of bands, and she is known for her distinct singing style and compelling lyricism.
