Los Angeles shoegazers Milly will be releasing their debut album Eternal Ring, on September 30th, 2022 through Dangerbird Records. Nullify is the first single, coming alongside an accompanying video.
Milly is in complete pop mode on Nullify, showing clear influence from indie lo-fi rock staples like Pavement.
Brendan Dyer, Milly's frontman and composer, and his closest collaborator, bassist Yarden Erez, developed an album which takes present day America's anxieties and processes everything through a personal filter, culminating in a visceral and contemporary work of indie rock vibrancy.
About Nullify, Brendan Dyer explains: “The song is about people who think they can solve other people's problems for them when they can’t even balance their own shit. We want to aid others which is admirable but first we need to check in on ourselves to decide whether or not that’s actually possible. Anyone can be a hero if they try…”
