Nightcall, the latest EP from veteran dark outfit De Arma, is a somber and well-rounded effort that works splendidly as a three-song unit. Sunset Dreams, a seven-minute shimmering and rich expanse, brings the EP to an imposing conclusion.
Sunset Dreams, which flirts with current synthwave motifs, takes De Arma's darkwave, coldwave, and post punk basis to a different route and a new level, coming off modernistic, one hundred percent approachable and simple to take in, while remaining ageless.
