Wanderlust is another single from Sugar, the comeback album by Swedish band, MFMB, coming with a live performance clip from Sickan Studios, reaffirming once again that the band's return comes with much imagination.
MFMB describe: "The doorbell at our studio plays a little melody whenever you open or close the door. We’ve heard it thousands of times, and eventually it found its way into a song, as the lead synth in Wanderlust. It was bound to happen sooner or later.
"The lyrics revolve around empty dive bars, the news of yesterday, and the things we forgot, or chose not to see."
One of the most melodic and straightforward numbers on the new album, Wanderlust is an expressive piece which provides a peek at the band's breadth.
