Bathe Alone: Decades & Dreams

Bailey Crone's dreampop project Bathe Alone returns with the first example off the sophomore album Fall With The Lights Down, expected out via The Record Machine. Decades & Dreams, the new single and video, combines dreampop melodicism with rich instrumentals and a nostalgic atmosphere, replete with driving energy.

Crone was inspired by old images of both of her great-grandmothers on a boating excursion together, "where they looked completely miserable," according to the artist.

Crone describes: "Decades & Dreams lyrically is about the time I essentially kidnapped my best friend and drove her seven hours away to her first Beach House concert. True story."

The video pairs well with the song's emotional feel, and it depicts Bailey and her best friend costumed up in full granny garb, paying homage to reminiscence and reflecting on buoyant and joyous moments.
