Swiss band Batbait have unveiled their new release, Softness, Pt. 2, the highly awaited sequel to their previous two-song offering Softness, Pt. 1, which was published in January 2022.
Shitlife and Sinking In, the two new tracks, come rather contradictory to one another, spanning from high energy and spunk to moodier and more dreamy regions, demonstrating yet again the broad range with which emotions and worries can be dealt.
Sinking In is a hooky garage rocker with psychedelic overtones, solidly rooted in an indie basis with traces of nineties alternative. The song comes with a really well made video, created by the band themselves.
Softness, Pt. 2 is out now through Irascible Music.
