All Systems Failure is the third single from the upcoming full length by Thomas Barnwell's dark synthpop project, Picture One. Hearts of the Terminus comes out in its entirety on January 7th, 2022.
Hearts of the Terminus goes into the idea of the social systems which are declining around us, and our own parts within them. "The song focuses on our inability to fully view the moving parts of current complex structures as we move through them, and our ultimate ability to more clearly view older power structures and their failings," Picture One remarks.
Another propulsive cut which draws inspiration from alternative gothic rock and aims for the dark dancefloors, All Systems Failure is the coming album's most densely stylized single thus far by dint of darkwave standards, and it makes a mark of its own.
