Driving Slow Motion: Mariana

Fort Worth, Texas-based instrumental post rockers, Driving Slow Motion, have released their very good new album, Adrift:Abyss, via Post. Recordings, exhibiting a venturous, progressive and cinematic kind of composition which blends impeccably with ambient and experimental sounds.

The beautiful five-minute piece, Mariana, is themed on the deepest oceanic trench on Earth.

The band explain: "Mariana was written about the deepest place on earth, Mariana's Trench. It has purposeful sonic attributes that were placed to make the listener feel as if they were on an underwater voyage that ends up in the trench and reveals the world down there."

Adrift:Abyss was recorded and mixed by Driving Slow Motion, and mastered by Troy Glessner at Spectre Studio.
