Brain Cave: Forced Network

Following on from their very good debut full length, Stuck In the Mud from last year, Cleveland heavy rockers, Brain Cave, return with a new EP, another fine exemplification of their hard hitting noise rock, post hardcore and stoner rock energy.

Forced Network, the opening track to the forthcoming Log World comes embracing its punk rock mentality with forcefulness, and sounds all relentless as a result of the sludge metal properties which the band's sound also encloses.

Brain Cave comment on their impending release: "The EP is generally about distractions and what occupies our time/ lives. Not really Covid related but there was plenty of time to focus on new things and what is important during lockdowns. Connecting with nature is important to me and is a strong theme for me. But with a tongue in cheek view because I generally feel there is a hefty dose of hypocrisy when it comes to what I (and others) claim is important."

Log World comes out July 23rd, 2021.
