Anomaly is the final single revealed from the forthcoming album by Portland dreampop/shoegaze band, Crystal Canyon. yours with affection and sorrow is the quartet's sophomore full length, and it arrives on January 29th, 2021 through Repeating Cloud.
The new LP was previously introduced with Turn Blue and Every Little Star which were established on a noisier shoegaze sound, but this time through Anomaly the band get to lean closer to psychedelic pop while preserving the tuneful dreampop charm which is discernibly demonstrated through their earlier offerings.
One of the first notable shoegaze albums of 2021, yours with affection and sorrow, finds the band's songwriting covering a wide range of guitar-laden indie rock, and shows their love for the nineties being clear as day.
