Sayvior is the dreampop project consisting of former A Place To Bury Strangers drummer, Lia Braswell, and her brother, producer and guitarist, Sebastian Braswell. Fairly fresh, the new act recorded a series of songs before quarantine, and have just unveiled a first specimen of their sound through first single, Get Out Of It.
Overflowing with colorful dreampop psychedelia, the new track showcases the duo's songwriting strengths, and their expertise in instrumentation and production.
"It is a dreampop tale about being in a negative headspace and looking for a way out of it," the band describe the song which comes attached to a woozy DIY visual created by the Braswell siblings themselves.
The song is part of Rough Trade's massive compilation, Talk - Action = Zero Vol. 2, a release which benefits the organization, Spread The Vote, and also features contributions by A Place To Bury Strangers, Pink Mountaintops, Oddnesse and dozens more.
